This audio CD guides you to reconnect or deepen your connections to your body.

Recovering from persistent pain often requires us to reconnect with sensations other than the pain. We start with awareness of the body, and then expand our awareness to our breath, then to our thoughts and emotions. With greater awareness of maladaptive breathing patterns and abnormal muscle tension, we can then begin to regulate and restore balanced functioning in our body.

To assist those with persistent pain, four different lengths of a body scan are provided on this Audio-CD from 7 to 24 minutes. Choose the one that works best for you at any point in time.

Neil Pearson, MSc, BScPT, BA-BPHE, CYT, RYT500 is a registered physical therapist (since 1985), a certified yoga therapist (since 2003), and a yoga teacher.
