I like the weight of this Eko Lite mat b/c when I unroll it, it actually opens pretty flat - no curl at the ends. The texture allows for good gripping. I would recommend this mat for mostly standing poses. They do not offer enough cushion for the wrist when doing any asanas bearing weight on the hands. For that, the Black mat offered by Manduka works the best. That's still the one I grab out the door, but the lite is convenient packing for travel.
